Position: Accounts Payable and Receivable Representative
Location: Plainview, NY

We have an immediate need for a responsible and reliable Accounts Payable and Receivable Representative to join our Accounting Department. This position is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and for Excel Advantage accounts receivable and Sales Tax Filings.

This team player will be responsible for processing of AP for assigned vendors, T&E reports, assist with annual 1099 preparation, maintain Excel Advantage accounts receivable, including bi-weekly sales downloads, deposits, applying cash, removing credit holds, posting credits/returns and collection calls. Review and process all medical/dental insurance bills and assist with the taking of physical inventory. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented with exceptional accounting, analytical and organizational skills and possess the ability to multi-task, strong interpersonal/communication skills with ability to handle various internal and external inquiries. Strong Excel skills required. Associate's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
