Davis Vision considers the relationship with its clients to be a partnership, working together to ensure 100% satisfaction for all participants. Historically, our provider network has grown in conjunction with client group needs and it will continue to be expanded as necessary to meet member access requirements.

Credentialing and Quality Assurance

Only the most qualified doctors are selected to participate in the Davis Vision network. They are then credentialed in accordance with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards. The doctors must complete an extensive application reflecting their academic background, continuing education and professional affiliations. All participating providers are monitored by statistical profiling generated through Davis Vision’s proprietary administrative system, CompuVision™. Network providers are also contractually bound to adhere to the professional standards detailed in the Davis Vision Provider Manual.

The Davis Vision network is blended and comprised of private practitioners – independent optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians – and many of the nation’s premier point-of-service retail centers... the best of all worlds in terms of provider-type and office setting selection. This all-inclusive spectrum provides members with tremendous choice and flexibility.
